When the vehicles involved are large school buses like the Medford school bus accident, the results could be catastrophic due to the lack of safety features contained in them. In the past few months, school bus accidents such as the devastating Mount Olive, New Jersey fatal school bus crash in May have been the focus of lawmakers in creating more safety standards to protect students and adults riding school buses.
